Georgi is a Cambridgeshire-based photographer currently working for two daily newspapers in the Midlands.

Starting her career as a photographer and picture editor on the student newspaper 'Nouse' at York University, Georgi went on to take the NCTJ in Photojournalism at Sheffield College in 2007.

This year Georgi was awarded News Photographer of the Year 2010 in the EDF East of England Media Awards for her work in press photography.

In 2008 she was profiled by The Independent in its student magazine The Guide, and was shortlisted as Best Newcomer to Journalism and News Photographer of the Year in the 2009 East of England Media Awards.

Georgi is also skilled in video production, having experience in filming and editing news reports and promotional packages.
